In the Music Real E67, our guests are Multi Award Winning International Pop Violinist Virtuoso Martin Lass and Internationally renown Musical Director Inge Verhoef. Now these two Music Artists have achieved something extraordinary. Way before Andre Rieux, Martin and Inge singlehandedly made classical music accessible to a more general audience around the world. On cruise ships in the Mediterranean, Caribbean or the Pacific, in theatres in New York, in Concert Halls in the major cities and in performing arts theatres in the regional areas of Australia and in pubs and clubs around the globe, the classics and contemporary music joined forces. Now for us mostly working in a contemporary music market, to get a young artist on stage and perform, it is a long journey that begins for many at the tender age of 5-6, taking piano or violin lessons at school. Martin and Inge have leveraged decades of extensive touring, writing, producing, recording and releasing award winning albums with thousands of performances across the globe to produce Music Education programs where students learn not just the what and the how but the most important aspect of the music industry – the why – which is what sets them on the adventure of being the future music artists of the world. We hear how they adapted in Lockdown to continue teaching their students. https://themusicreal.com.au/2020/07/03/martin-inge-lass-adapting-in-lockdown-to-stay-connected-to-students/
