In the Music Real E66, we chat with Chris Patrick, Manager for The Burdekin Theatre in Ayr North Queensland. This theatre is a unique gem for the community and houses one of the finest little proscenium-arch theatres in Australia. It’s a place where a diverse range of events happen – Concerts, Live Shows, conferences, meetings and social functions to weddings and outdoor events. It is an important stop in an Australian tour and has been host to some of the most iconic Artists in Australia. Lockdowns have impacted community venues around Australia and indeed the world and we hear from Chris how the lockdown impacted the community around the theatre.
